ZOCS has grown significantly over the past decade as an organization, the scale of programming and reputation in supporting community schools . With growth, the organization has enjoyed the opportunities and rewards that come with a growing reputation. 

Together with the government and other stakeholders, ZOCS has invested substantial resources over the years in addressing the situation of OVC. While such action has seen more OVC not only access education but also do relatively well academically.
