1. Education Project: By the end of 2007, ZOCS will be able to facilitate increased enrolment, retention and provide quality education through the community schools reaching out to over 8,500 orphans and vulnerable children. By the end of 2007, ZOCS will have increased and enhanced community participation in its programmes and activities in order to improve the welfare of children under their care and support. By the end of 2007, ZOCS will have its financial sustainability base improved, leading to at least 15% of its operational costs funded by internally generated resources. By the end of 2007, ZOCS will have influenced a number of national policies on children’s welfare, advocated for government to support community schools, improved networks and built sufficient internal capacities to carry out its programmes through good governance and programme development.
